Back home and a day on Ben Nevis
After arriving back home in Aviemore last weekend and doing a lot of unpacking last week, I drove off to Fort William on Friday to work for Maximum Adventure with the Smith family to help them achieve their challenge of climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for Brain Tumour Research. The weather gods smiled on us and we had a lovely day, not too cold, not too hot and fine views.
The evening light over Ben Nevis was lovely to enjoy and there was a good frost on Saturday morning. Staying in my car was a bit of a contrast to the luxury of the van but it was comfortable and I could watch the stars through the roof windows. The campsite was quite busy with mountain bikers who were there for the weekend's event.
So back to updating my blog more regularly but still with lots of photos from the summer alpine trip to add.
